Henry arrives in Weiser to reunite with an old army friend. Henry had once saved his friend's life and the man's grateful father offers him a job working at the Weiser Herald newspaper. But Henry's attitude toward the wealthy society members of Weiser and his friend's poor treatment of his fiancee soon cause a reversal in their relationship.
