“Idilio en sombras”

"Idilio en sombras" in Capricho #193 (1966) delivers a moody, atmospheric tale of love and mystery, anchored by Ángel García Del Árbol’s expressive art in both pencils and inks. When Daisy’s dream man arrives at her father’s mountain hotel, their romance unfolds under a cloud of unspoken tension—only for her to learn, upon traveling to New York, that he’s engaged to someone else. Her visit takes a shocking turn when she finds him dead, and with the police closing in, she flees to an empty apartment, where an unexpected ally steps in to help. Antonio Bernal’s cover captures the story’s shadowy allure with sharp, dramatic lines.

She travels to New York to give him a piece of her mind, but when she enters his apartment she discovers his body on the floor.
