Canto #6

The sixth and final issue of IDW's 2019 fantasy series brings Canto — the small clockwork knight with his red scarf and wide, expressive eyes — face to face with a towering, dark-robed figure whose hooded form looms ominously overhead, surrounded by crackling pink energy. Drew Zucker's cover composition masterfully contrasts the tiny hero's determined stance against the overwhelming, faceless threat bearing down on him. It's a striking send-off image for a series that proved a small figure can carry an enormous amount of heart.
