The little clockwork knight known as Canto finds himself in dire straits on this striking cover by Drew Zucker — coiled in the crushing grip of massive purple tentacles beneath a turbulent, bubble-filled sea, yet somehow still defiant. Vittorio Astone's deep blue underwater palette makes the churning foam and the creature's writhing limbs pop with visceral energy. Booher and Zucker's IDW series continues to deliver big adventure on a small hero's scale, and issue #3 makes clear that Canto's quest is anything but easy.
