The fifth issue of Image's Southern Gothic horror series delivers a striking cover from Matias Bergara — a pale green-tinted young woman sprinting in terror through a crimson, shadow-drenched swampland, her hair whipping behind her as she clutches something in her hand. The label-style design, echoing vintage Southern branding with its oval vignette and ornate typography, gives the whole image an unsettling elegance that perfectly captures the series' bayou dread.
