Candy attempts to impress a boy by netting him at a swimming pool and taking him on a boating excursion, but her efforts lead to comedic mishaps and chaos. When her parents mention they're away and she wants to watch a special television program featuring a handsome celebrity named Ronald La Rue, Candy invites the boy over; however, a stray cat causes a series of disasters that destroy the house and result in police being called to settle the disturbance.
