Candy #5

Candy, a young blonde woman, takes a country drive with her boyfriend Ted, who is eager to show off his new jalopy. Later, Ted leaves for the evening to meet with someone named Dewey, and Candy encounters Mr. Gilroy, who invites her to a model house display for the "Great Gilroy and his Great Dane" vaudeville club benefits; there she is startled by Gilroy's large dog, Hamlet. In a separate story, Candy wins a Double Bubble soap suds contest and receives a ticket to a radio contest the following night at the Hartwick radio studio, where she celebrates her victory with Ted.
