There's a delightful slice of 1954 soda-fountain life right on this cover, as Candy leans across the counter to scold a soda jerk named Herbie — "You left out the crushed pineapple!" — while a wide-eyed blond friend looks on in shared disbelief. Between them sits an impossibly towering ice cream sundae, complete with straws, a tiny American flag, and dripping toppings that make the complaint entirely understandable. Quality Comics' "America's Favorite Teen-Age Girl" brings her signature spark to this issue, which also promises snowy fun inside for a dime well spent.
