Candy attends a party where old acquaintance Windbag Braggs plans an elaborate ghost hoax to scare Ted Dawson. The scheme goes awry when the men accidentally encounter a real ghost in the basement, causing chaos and flooding when they attempt to escape, which damages the house's plumbing. Later, Candy's friend Josephine lands a modeling job, and when Candy expresses doubt about her friend's abilities, Josephine challenges her to try modeling herself, leading Candy to go on a test drive in a fancy automobile.
