Candy #42

Candy loses her diamond ring and posts a notice seeking its return. She later becomes involved in a theatrical production where she must choose between performing in a show or helping a friend; after auditioning and performing in a Romeo and Juliet scene, she accidentally causes a prop to fall and is blamed for ruining the performance. In a separate sequence, Candy and her friend Trish encounter Ted and attempt to help him out of a romantic entanglement by suggesting he attend a school dance; when Candy gets caught in the middle of a chemistry experiment gone wrong, Trish devises a scheme at a perfume store called Madame Dewberry to help resolve the situation.
