Sally commence à voir la pianiste dans un café où elle travaille comme serveuse. Mais elle surprend le commentaire de son propriétaire selon lequel il a été prévenu et se rend à Londres. Sally se demande pourquoi il ne lui a pas dit. Enfin, il lui dit que la police avait trouvé de la drogue dans son étui de musique, installé par le saxophone de son groupe précédent. Il s'était caché à Dunford, mais rentrait à Londres pour se rendre. Sally insiste pour aller sous couverture pour obtenir des preuves contre l'homme au saxophone afin d'innocenter Dave.
