Calling All Kids #22

This anthology issue contains multiple stories including tales of holiday mischief and fantastical adventures. In one story, forest animals create a loud disturbance with pots and pans while planning to help Santa Claus down the chimney, eventually making enough noise to wake sleeping children. Another story features Mayor Paddy the penguin, who is rescued from talkers by a blue bird and builds a snowman with animal townspeople; when the animals criticize his leadership, they hold a town meeting to elect a new mayor, only to discover the snowman resembles Mayor Paddy himself. The issue also includes "Bobo Blows a Bubble," where a clown and his snow-man friend Whitey create the world's biggest soap bubble in Blunderland, and the bubble carries them away on a fantastical journey.
