Part of Marvel's 1995 "Legion Quest" crossover, this issue carries the evocative subtitle "An Hour of Last Things" — and Churchill and LaRosa's cover delivers on that sense of urgency. Cable surges forward in the foreground, his metallic arm and signature gold harness unmistakable, while Cyclops flies alongside him and a battered, dark-clad figure looms behind them both — all three caught in a moment of desperate, breakneck motion against a shattered landscape. Jeph Loeb's storytelling paired with Ian Churchill's dynamic linework makes this an easy one to pull off the shelf.
