C’est Bon Anthology #10

C'est Bon Anthology Vol. 10 brings together seven creators from across Scandinavia and Europe — Mari Ahokoivu, Davide Catania, Martin Flink, Loka Kanarp, Ib Kjeldsmark, Leo Scherfig, and Simon Diamant Silfverberg — under the evocative theme "Apocrypha (Those Having Been Hidden Away)." Martin Flink's cover sets a quietly unsettling mood: a group of figures with eerily blank, mask-like faces mill about a rain-slicked street at night, one man cradling a small white mask while a woman with a shoulder bag looks on, the surrounding crowd rendered in cool, shadowy blues. Among the contributions is "Lizard," written, drawn, inked, and lettered entirely by Loka Kanarp, making this international comics art magazine a compelling showcase for bold, singular voices in 2010.
