Volume 23 of Laudec and Cauvin's beloved family comedy series arrives with a title that says it all — "Ik wil trouwen!" ("I want to get married!"). The cover sets the tone perfectly: a laughing blonde woman and a dark-haired man bending down to address two startled young boys, one of whom appears to be Cédric himself, reacting with wide-eyed alarm alongside a friend. It's the warm, expressive cartooning that has made this Dupuis series a staple of Franco-Belgian humor, and this 2009 installment looks to deliver plenty of domestic comedy gold.
