From Jim Lee's Wildstorm universe comes C-23 #6, the "Nuclear Spring" chapter brought to life by writer Jeff Mariotte and artist Alexander Lozano. The cover — penciled and inked by Richard Corben and John Cassaday — thrusts two armored, cybernetically enhanced figures into the foreground: a broad-shouldered male warrior gripping a heavy firearm and a fierce female combatant sporting razor-sharp claws, both surging forward against a churning backdrop of fire, smoke, and crackling energy tendrils with a menacing mechanical creature looming above.
