A young person stares out with wide, alarmed blue eyes as a mass of dark, writhing creature-limbs closes in around them from every direction, the crescent moon overhead offering precious little comfort. Christine Larsen's linework gives the encroaching figures a creeping, organic menace that feels genuinely threatening without losing the series' distinctive charm.
