John Allison, Christine Larsen, and Sarah Stern's By Night continues with this quietly gripping fourth issue from BOOM! Box. The cover pulls you right in close — a young woman peers intently over a large camera or video lens pointed directly at the viewer, her wide eyes lit with wariness under a crescent moon night sky. There's something immediately compelling about that enormous reflective lens dominating the foreground, hinting at mysteries being observed (or perhaps recorded) just beyond what we can see.
