This issue contains two stories: "Red Sun—Black Ivory," in which a young fox and a character in Native American dress encounter wolves and a magical red sun while traveling through a snowy landscape; and a tale involving Egyptian mummies and pharaohs, where a dead pharaoh rises from his tomb and converses with Queen Nurna about ruling Egypt, while a cat named Jinko receives the pharaoh's soul. Additionally, there is a maritime adventure featuring Captain Bully Mason and a cabin boy named Terry aboard a ship, with Terry learning seamanship from an experienced sailor named Teig.
