Buster Brown Comic Book #23

The issue contains two stories featuring Buster Brown. In the first story, Buster Brown and his dog Tige embark on an African adventure where they encounter poachers hunting elephants and assist a maharaja and his companion Ghanga in stopping a man named Hawkins from his illegal hunting activities. In the second story, Buster Brown enlists as a soldier and participates in military training exercises, including bayonet practice, while a character named Smilin' Ed supervises the troops. Additionally, there is a story titled "Suki and the Pearl Hunters" in which a young island boy named Suki must defend Chief Sumo from treacherous men, ultimately helping the chief recover and return home with the recovered pearl hunters.
