This anthology contains three stories: "The Biggest Snake in the World" follows Sean and the Little People as they encounter a giant anaconda in the swamp, where Sean wields his needle sword against a large bird defending its nest, ultimately triumphing as a crow helps defeat the threat. "Sean and the Little People" continues with Sean and his companions hunting for an anaconda in dangerous territory, where they discover the massive water snake Lubo and face peril when the creature drops a man from a tree, leading to a tense confrontation. "The Shark Drum" depicts a trading encounter on a tropical island where a sailor named Bull Mason exploits native inhabitants by offering inferior trade goods, including fire water, while attempting to victimize the peaceful natives.
