The finale of Marvel's five-issue alternate-history limited series lands with a striking cover by Tommy Lee Edwards: a gleaming Silver Surfer crouches low on his board, caught in the colossal shadow of a looming Galactus whose massive armored form dominates the left side of the image against a blazing golden sky. It's a beautifully composed moment of tension — the lone, chrome figure facing something incomprehensibly vast — that feels like a fitting visual punctuation mark for J. Michael Straczynski's "Targets of Opportunity." Edwards handles the full artistic duties inside as well, making this a remarkably cohesive final chapter to the series.
