When Porky Pig refuses to lend a dime to Cicero Pig, a chance encounter with a newspaper cartoon about Doughrania sends him and Bugs Bunny on a wild trip into a land where money is food and fuel. Drawn into the cartoon by a magic pen, they find themselves shrinking under the King of Doughrania’s rule—only to be chased through the kingdom by Doughranian guards when their greed gets the better of them. Meanwhile, Cicero’s wish at the cartoonist’s office sets everything right, and in the end, he gets his dime.
On Christmas Eve, Sylvester the cat is kicked out of his owner’s house and stumbles upon Mr. Angus Macrory, who hires him as a watch-cat to save money on a real watchdog. When Santa Claus arrives with all the lavish gifts Angus has wished for, Sylvester stands his ground—only to be kicked out again when Angus returns, leaving the feline back where he started.
