“Weed 'Em and Weep”

In "Weed 'Em and Weep," Wile E. Coyote takes a surprising detour from his usual pursuit of Beep Beep, turning his sights on a defenseless little rabbit—only to find Bugs Bunny has other plans. With Phil De Lara handling both pencils and inks, the story unfolds in classic Looney Tunes fashion, blending slapstick chaos and clever misdirection. Ralph Heimdahl’s cover captures the moment of comedic tension, as Wile’s frustration reaches a peak.

Wile E. Coyote decides to give up chasing the road runners and chase after helpless little rabbits instead. When Bugs sees that Wile is about to catch a little rabbit he takes matters into his own hands. He hides where Wile can't see him and takes the bunny's place. After Bugs beats him up a few times Wile is scared and he decides to go back to chasing Beep Beep and the road runners. Beep Beep complains to Bugs so Bugs tells him and his sons to dress up like rabbits. Wile E. Coyote thinks he is seeing things and decides that he will quit chasing everything but slow-growing turnips.
