“Stranger in Town....”

In the 1959 Western tale "Stranger in Town…," Annie O'Connell and her son Jody ride the stagecoach into Buckskin, only to be caught in a robbery just outside town. When a mysterious stranger checks into the local hotel, suspicion flares—especially when one passenger insists he’s the outlaw leader. The man is arrested, but the real gang isn’t done: they frame him by slipping a note through the jail window. Young Jody, determined to clear the man’s name, follows the note’s sender to a hidden shack, leading the marshal to the truth. Written by Eric Freiwald and Robert Schaefer, with art and inks by Sparky Moore, this tense frontier mystery unfolds with quiet suspense and sharp pacing.
