Brynmore #5

The penultimate issue of IDW's Brynmore arrives with a cover that commands attention — a massive, ancient face composed entirely of bark, gnarled roots, and dead leaves looms out of a deep green mist, its piercing glowing eyes radiating something genuinely unsettling. Damien Worm's cover art makes full use of shadow and sickly emerald light to give this woodland entity a presence that feels both primal and menacing. Steve Niles and the creative team have been building something dark and atmospheric with this series, and issue #5 looks every bit the satisfying chapter you'd hope for heading into the finale.
