Brutal Nature #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe fourth issue of IDW's Brutal Nature closes out the series with a cover by Ariel Olivetti that commands immediate attention — a massively built, blue-faced warrior reclines against a rocky outcropping, his enormous foot thrust toward the viewer in a striking foreshortened pose, a broken stone tool resting nearby in the wild grass. Olivetti's painterly style gives the figure an almost sculptural weight, blending earthy tones with lush greens to create something that feels as much fine art as comics cover. With Luciano Saracino and Carlos Guzman's story reaching its conclusion inside, this is a fitting final chapter for one of 2016's more visually distinctive action series.
