Bong, America's leading ace in the southwest Pacific during World War II, detailing his twenty-seven victories against Japanese aircraft in his Lightning P-38 fighter plane; and "Flying Fancies," in which Bruce Gentry becomes entangled with a Hollywood movie company that has picked him to be the leading man in a film, leading to romantic complications and comedic situations involving the film's beautiful starlet.
