Ruth Carrington is accepted for training as a stewardess and meets a pilot, Paul. When Paul asks Ruth where her family lives, she is caught off guard. Thinking of her family's humble lives, she lies, saying they do not live nearby when they actually do. Paul and Ruth start dating, but Paul is disappointed to learn that Ruth has lied about her parents. When she confesses her lie, they go to visit Ruth's parents and eventually get married.
