Brian Pulido's Belladonna #3

Dec 2004 · Avatar Press · 3.99 USD

Belladonna #3 (2004, Avatar Press) delivers a raw, relentless escalation in Brian Pulido’s dark saga, with art by Clint Hilinski and colors by Greg Waller bringing the brutal clash to life. After her husband’s murder at the hands of Viking raiders, Belladonna arrives not as a savior, but as a reckoning—her control over the wilds exacting a terrible price. The stage is set at Castle MacGrath, where the final reckoning begins, and every wound carries the weight of what’s been lost.

The Vikings who control Wexford are using the women of the town for their pleasure and Jackie's husband can no longer tolerate it. He confronts the Vikings, but is quickly killed. However, at that moment Belladonna arrives looking for Axel. Despite being injured, she and the animals she control kill Axel and his men. Having killed seven of the nine men who destroyed her life, she arranges a final battle with the final two men at Castle MacGrath, the site where it all started.
