Breezy #5
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom Marvel's Humorama line comes this October 1954 edition of Breezy, a digest-style humor magazine bursting with gag cartoons and cheesecake charm. The cover arranges four diamond-shaped cartoon panels — featuring comedic scenarios with captions like "Who Rang That Ding-Dong?!" and "Another Day, Another Doll-Up!" — around a central oval photograph of a smiling pin-up model posed in a chair, all rendered in a cool green-and-white palette by cover artists Jefferson Machamer, Reamer Keller, and Glenn R. Bernhardt. At a quarter a copy, this was a lively little package of illustrated wit that captured the playful, wink-and-nudge spirit of mid-fifties popular humor.
