This April 1954 Humorama Magazine from Marvel delivers exactly what its cover promises: "A Racy Pageant of Peppy Cartoons, Goofy Giggles & Gorgeous Girls!" The cover sets the playful tone with a self-assured, stylishly dressed woman standing hands-on-hips beside a car, trading a pointed look with a wide-eyed State Police officer who has his ticket book at the ready — the tagline "Fine and Dander!" says it all.
