From 1957, this February issue of Breezy — Marvel's cheeky humor magazine billed as "A Lusty Eyeful of Robust Entertainment!" — features cover model Renee Lavalle lounging confidently in a gingham bikini, playfully dangling strings of beads with a knowing smile. Three cartoon vignettes line the bottom of the cover, each offering a glimpse of the witty, risqué gag humor inside, with art contributed by Dan DeCarlo, Tom Hickey, and Bill Wenzel. At just 25 cents, it's a lively snapshot of mid-fifties magazine comedy with plenty of personality to spare.
