A stranger calls out Sandra's name and says he thought he'd never see her again. Just then workmen start up their jackhammers and they can't hear each other. She has to catch a bus, but before she goes he scribbles a note asking her to meet him that evening. With only a split second to think, she agrees even though she is sure they have never met before.
