Madge and June get holiday lodgings that are advertised as a "stone's throw from the sea", but they end up walking two miles to get to the beach. By the time they get home that evening, they are exhausted and couldn't take another step. Unhappy with the "stone's throw" reference, June randomly throws a stone and almost hits one of two guys walking nearby. But the boys aren't too upset when they see the girls and end up escorting the girls for the rest of the holiday on their scooters.
