This is an anthology issue featuring two complete stories. The primary story stars Crimebuster, who investigates a seemingly beautiful woman chosen as Miss America who was formerly considered ugly and laughed at—only to discover she has committed suicide, raising the question of whether this was truly a crime. The second story, "Extra Evidence: A Daredevil Story," follows Daredevil as he investigates the death of Johnny Coy, a gambler found dead in a car after leaving a dinner party; Daredevil discovers evidence suggesting the death may not have been accidental, involving the driver Helen Lewis and the young man Bob Hirschman who was expecting to inherit Coy's fortune.
