Boy-1 #2

Seen from a disquieting overhead angle, a young person lies curled on a mattress while a ring of armored figures closes in around them — scattered children's toys on the floor adding an unexpectedly haunting detail to the scene. IDW's Boy-1 #2 continues what looks like a tense, sci-fi-inflected thriller, with Tak, Nahuelpan, and Cheng crafting imagery that blends vulnerability and threat in equal measure. If this cover is any indication, this 2015 series isn't pulling its punches.
