The cover of Born #2 says everything without a word: a cracked, decaying skull half-submerged in dense jungle undergrowth, a centipede crawling across its fractured surface, the whole image speaking quietly but powerfully to the brutality at the heart of Garth Ennis's Vietnam War story. Wieslaw Walkuski's painted cover work is haunting in its stillness — lush green foliage framing death with an almost serene indifference.
