An old dark house, that mysteriously appears and abruptly disappears from different locations, is entered and investigated by an "infil team" commanded by the cold mission leader Agent Gira. The house had appeared in Maricopa County, Arizona seven hours ago, and vanishes with Agent Gira's team inside, killing some of the sheriff's men, who were present outside, in an explosive manifestation of force. Over the sheriff's strong objections, Gira institutes a cover story for the events, and copters-off to Coke County, Texas, where the house appears next.
