Border Patrol #1 is an anthology of Western action stories. "Trail of Vengeance" follows Burns Atler, a young cowhands from Tucson, whose horse is shot by a group of men in early 1895, leading him on a quest for revenge across the desert toward Bisbee, Arizona. "Cattlemen's Clan" depicts a conflict between cattle and sheep ranchers, where an inspector investigating sick cattle discovers a smuggling operation and must expose the criminals while navigating the dangerous tensions between rival ranching families.
