This issue contains three stories. In the main Boots and Her Buddies story, Boots helps arrange a date between two theatrical characters who need to learn a lesson about their arrogant behavior. "Lovelorn Larry" follows the lovesick Larry, who becomes infatuated with a cute girl named Mildred after his friend Leatherhead points her out; Leatherhead coaches him on how to impress her, but Larry's awkward attempt to lean on a fence results in him falling, embarrassing himself in front of the girl. "Babe Horace" depicts a domestic scene where a woman tries to get her husband to go to sleep, and includes a paper doll cut-out feature of Boots at the story's conclusion.
