Booster Gold #23
In "Day of Death, Part III of IV," Booster Gold faces his darkest hour as he and Raven arrive at Steve Dayton’s mansion to find the Teen Titans dead—only to be drawn deeper into a future where Trigon has conquered Earth after the Titans' demise. With Rip Hunter and Skeets, Booster joins forces with a desperate underground resistance led by Zatanna and a version of Kyle Rayner who never became a Green Lantern. Dan Jurgens’ writing and art, with Norm Rapmund’s inks and Hi-Fi’s colors, deliver a tense, emotionally charged journey through a broken timeline, culminating in Booster’s fateful surrender to Trigon’s forces—cover by Dan Jurgens and Norm Rapmund.

Raven arrives at Steve Dayton's mansion to find all of the Teen Titans dead. As Booster explains the situation, Rip arrives, and the three, along with Skeets, travel to 2020 where the death of the Titans led to Trigon destroying the JLA and conquering the Earth. The heroes encounter Zatanna and Kyle Rayner (who in this timeline never became a Green Lantern) who lead an underground movement against Trigon. But the time travelers' presence has been detected, so Booster allows himself to be taken away by Trigon's sentries to protect the underground, and is dropped at the feet of Trigon himself.
