In the dusty shadows of a forgotten cave, Bedrock Barnes stumbles upon a set of ancient Spanish armor and, curious as ever, slips it on. When a gang of stage robbers takes refuge inside, the sudden appearance of a ghostly armored figure—along with the eerie braying of a donkey—sends them fleeing in terror. Realizing the stolen goods belong to Wells Fargo, Bedrock sets off to return them, unaware of the strange power the armor might hold.

In "Den lille mesteñera," the Cartwrights find themselves on foot after Charro Pete’s gang steals their horses, only to capture Pete himself. With help from the Rico family, they trade for mustangs and take young Sarita on a rugged journey to Virginia City, where a shocking mistake threatens to hang her father—wrongly accused of being the outlaw.
