In "En sportsmann," the Cartwrights welcome an English nobleman, Sir Wilfred, to their ranch for a hunting trip, unaware his reckless slaughter of buffalo will provoke the Shoshone. When tensions erupt and both men are captured, Little Joe must use his wits and courage to negotiate peace—escaping his own binds to convince Sir Wilfred to leave before blood is shed.

In the dusty frontier of 1865, a former seaman pitches an ambitious idea: a sail-powered wagon designed to cut across the prairie with the wind. He convinces Bedrock Barnes to back the venture, but the rugged cowboy remains skeptical—after all, in the desert, the wind often stops dead, and a wagon with no wind is just a heavy box on wheels.
