“Father's Day Part 1”
About this Collection

This collection kicks off the darkly comedic Body Bags series, following the Delgado family—a clan of professional assassins who balance bloody hits with domestic life. Volume 1: Fathers Day introduces Mack Delgado, his wife Panda Carmen Maria Delgado, and their daughter Clownface as they navigate a particularly chaotic Father's Day hit. Published by Image, this trade paperback collects the early issues of the 2009 series, blending over-the-top violence with twisted family dynamics.

"Father's Day Part 1" kicks off a tense, bloody chapter in the Body Bags saga, as Panda discovers the truth behind the mission—Mack and Pops were sent to kill Maureen Scorsese, not abduct her. With the job unraveling fast and a cyborg assassin named Wolf Spiders now hunting them, Mack realizes too late that the entire operation was a trap. Jason Pearson’s sharp storytelling and distinctive art—enhanced by Michael Golden’s striking cover—anchor a story where loyalty and betrayal collide in the most brutal way.
