About this Collection

This collection brings together the 2022 Blue & Gold miniseries from DC, featuring a team-up of Booster Gold and Blue Beetle as they navigate time-travel mishaps and comedic adventures. The story, written by Dan Jurgens with art by Ryan Sook, sees the duo confronting threats from their pasts while trying to reclaim their heroic status in the DC Universe.

In "Application Denied," Booster Gold faces off against the imposing Omnizon at the United Nations, only to be aided by Blue Beetle, who swiftly relocates her to the swamps of Louisiana. As the dust settles, Blue Beetle reveals he's cut off from Kord Industries' resources—just as Booster's former assistant Trixie, now going by Terri, steps forward with an unexpected offer: a base of operations for their new superhero service. Written by Dan Jurgens and illustrated by Cully Hamner, with colors by Chris Sotomayor and letters by Rob Leigh, the issue features a cover by Ryan Sook.

When Omnizon makes her imperial presence known at the United Nations, Booster confronts her. Blue Beetle pulls up in his Buggy to help and teleports Omnizon to the swamps of Louisiana. Afterwards, Beetle is explaining Booster that he no longer has access to the resources of Kord Industries when Booster's former assistant Trixie (now calling herself Terri) appears and offers the heroes a space to operate their new super-hero service.
