# Blue Circle Comics #1 This anthology issue contains at least two stories. "Howdy Nelson" follows a young reporter who uncovers a gang of swindlers operating out of the Grand Art Apartments and exposes them in a newspaper story, earning praise from his editor for the scoop. A second story involves saboteurs operating a factory to produce defective military armor; when their plot is discovered, soldiers are dispatched to stop them, and a character named Nick Stone is injured in the confrontation, with a mysterious figure of justice appearing to intervene. A third story follows explorers who discover the lost city of Atlantis beneath the ocean, where they encounter Neptune and are told that one of their party will become the sole female ruler of the underwater city after receiving a blessing from the dying queen.
