Blue Bolt Weird Tales of Terror #116

"The Ghostly Guardians" features a wounded American G.I. during the Korean War who encounters the spirits of fallen soldiers on a battlefield. The departed warriors reveal they are the spirits of valiant dead who fought for freedom and ask the G.I. to help save the Marine regiment marching toward doom. Blue Bolt pilots an interceptor and leads bombers to their objective, ultimately resulting in a bombing run on Japanese positions. The issue concludes with Blue Bolt flying an interception mission and bombers releasing their deadly loads on enemy targets.
