Blossoms: 666 #4

Laura Braga's cover for issue #4 of Archie Horror's Blossoms 666 splits the image down the middle with striking purpose — on the left, a pale, purple-haired figure bearing dark horns reaches out against a backdrop of skulls and cool blue shadow, while on the right, a red-haired figure in warm golden light leans in to meet her, the two faces nearly touching across that dividing line. The duality is beautifully rendered, playing darkness and light, infernal and celestial, against each other in a way that feels both intimate and genuinely unsettling. Cullen Bunn's horror series continues to make the most of Riverdale's eeriest family, and Braga's linework — colored to perfection by Matt Herms — makes this one of the series' most visually arresting covers yet.
