Bloodshot #42
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBloodshot #42 from Acclaim/Valiant's January 1996 lineup presents a striking image of the nanite-powered warrior enthroned within a massive mechanical apparatus, cables and conduits snaking out in every direction as though the machine itself is feeding on — or feeding — him. Sean Chen's pencils and Randy Elliott's inks give the composition real weight, with Bloodshot's signature red circle prominent on his chest and the whole scene radiating a sense of uneasy power. With Mark Moretti scripting "The Past Anew" and Sean Chen also handling interior art alongside inker Anibal Rodriguez, this issue looks like a compelling chapter in Bloodshot's ongoing struggle with his engineered identity.
